Gochujang Sauce
18 min · 6 2-tablespoon servings
Ingredients
□ 1/3 cup Korean gochujang
□ 2 tbsp soy sauce
□ 1 tbsp rice vinegar
□ 1 tbsp honey
□ 1 medium garlic clove, finely grated
□ 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
□
Directions
1. Grate the garlic. Smooth gochujang with soy sauce, adding it gradually until no dense paste remains.
2. Blend in rice vinegar and honey, then fold in grated garlic and toasted sesame oil until fragrant.
3. Rest 10 minutes. For brushing, use 1 tbsp warm water; for a thicker dip, use 1 tbsp gochujang instead.
4. Taste and serve the selected consistency as a standalone sauce, keeping the chile flavor clear.
Cook’s note: Choose one measured consistency adjustment so the sauce stays balanced.
